I eventually worked out that I needed to use the DWGUNITS command to check the dwg settings and adjust them to match our current settings. I've been working with some old dwg myself and had trouble with blocks being inserted at the wrong scale.Īll the Electrical scale settings were correct for the project and standards but the blocks still came in at the wrong scale. One thing to check is that the dwg units match the Electrical settings. Maybe it's that I'm such a hack that I'm not understanding you correctly. If I select the "scale" command, pick the symbol and enter a value of "2" it works OK.Īgain, this is a drawing that is not part of an AutoCAD Electrical project, just a standalone drawing that I'm editing using AutoCAD Elect. If I try to change it to 2:1 or 1:2 nothing changes. Yes, I'm aware of how to do that but what I need to do is insert new symbols that are scaled properly initially.Īddress: 2507 Bloyd Avenue Indianapolis IN 46218Įmail: Harvard Business School Case Study"
